If You Need Help Because of Ivan, Now is the Time to Ask

FEMA has two disaster centers open here in Bay County to help anyone who suffered damage or a loss from Hurricane Ivan and its tornados.

The centers are located at the Parker City Hall and a second FEMA center has opened at the Knology building on Back Beach Road at Colony Club at Panama City Beach.

They are open each day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Anyone needing assistance or information about help that is available can go by the FEMA centers. No appointment is necessary.

Over 1,000 Bay County residents have already begun the process of seeking assistance. In many cases help has already been provided.

The disaster centers are located in most northwest Florida counties impacted by the storm. Help is available at any of the FEMA locations.
