The annual gathering put on by the Pearl Harbor survivors began in 1968 with about 35 members. Today the numbers have dwindled down to 10.
Five battleships, three destroyers and seven other ships were sunk or severely damaged, and more than 200 aircraft were destroyed on December 7, 1941.
Many veterans say these gatherings allow them to share those memories of long ago.
Almost 2,400 people were killed and nearly 1,800 wounded in the attacks on Pearl Harbor and nearby bases.
