Judy Foister says when she opened Gulf Coast Hypnosis Wednesday morning, she found Richard Kevin Ritz from Georgia inside asleep. She pulled a .357 Magnum on him and called police.
While waiting for police to get there, Ritz took off down Highway 231. Bay County Sheriff's Deputies caught up with him a short time later.
"He appears to be a transient. He told one of the other officers that he was a methamphetamine addict and that he was coming to Florida," said Frank McKeithen, Bay County Sheriff.
Ritz is being charged with burglary. Foister refused to comment.
