Sunday was the first day for booth sales of the traditional Girl Scout cookies.
Girl Scout Troop 789 set up a booth at the Winn-Dixie on Highway 231. They sell the cookies every year to try to raise money for troop events and badges.
Booths will be set up around town until Sunday March 6, but don't wait too long, the cookies sell out really fast; the most popular being the Thin Mints and the Samoas come in second.
After March 6 the cookies will be gone until next year.
