Life may never be the same for three children involved in a serious car accident in Marianna on Saturday night.
Florida Highway Patrol troops say a 14-year-old driver crashed a pickup truck, killing his father and injuring his two young brothers who were all inside.
Fourteen-year-old Edwin Felipe of Maryland was driving west on Interstate 10 around 11 p.m. Saturday. The young driver told authorities he fell asleep. Troopers say the truck merged into the inside lane and Felipe over-corrected, causing the truck to roll two and a half times.
Thirty-nine-year-old Calletano Felipe was killed on impact. Two other passengers age nine and five were seriously injured along with the young driver.
