A man arrested for the murder of his grandmother is now in the Calhoun County Jail.
Nineteen-year-old Edkah Marshall allegedly shot his grandmother this past Tuesday before taking off to Mississippi with two minors.
Marshall was brought back to Calhoun County late Wednesday night. He made his first appearance before Judge Kevin Grover Thursday morning.
Judge Grover informed Marshall of his charges that include an open count of murder and violation of probation. Marshall is being held without bond and makes his next court appearance on April 6.
