Residents at a Panama City Beach neighborhood are still going to pay twice what their neighbors pay for water and sewer.
Last year the Florida Public Service Commission agreed to a rate hike by a private utility company that serves Bayside mobile home park.
The hike more than doubled the utility bills for residents inside the park. They appealed the decision with the PSC and finally reached an agreement late last year.
Although the bills went down an average of $15 per month, they are still more than twice what those in the next neighborhood pay the city of Panama City Beach for the same services.
The Public Service Commission has placed the settlement agreement on its agenda set for this Tuesday.
