It's hard to believe it's already March! But it is, and that means spring break is officially underway. It's this time of year that Panama City Beach just seems to come alive. When we say the beach comes alive, this time we're talking about the birth of a ton of new businesses.

From the east part of the beach to the west, new restaurants, new bars and new attractions are opening up. Many restaurants like Fish Ale opened their doors in time for the seasonal rush.

Bars are popping up all over, too. Matty's Irish Pub and Grill is now open at the corner of Middle and Front Beach Roads. Rum Runners will soon offer dueling pianos and frozen cocktails. And there's also a new attraction opening Saturday: the Dune Buggy Adventure Park which also includes zip lining and a ropes course.

"We want to be able to offer the zip lines and the dune buggies to all the spring breakers and give them something fun to do while they're here on the beach enjoying not just the fun and the sun and the sand but also come out here and zip along our track," said Senior Vice President of the park, Tammy Allen.

The dune buggy track opens Saturday and the zip lines open Tuesday.
