An early Friday morning traffic crash in Walton County has killed a Freeport woman.
21 Year old Dana Rene Mullins died in the single car mishap on Walton County Highway 83A just south of Dexton King Road at 1:30 AM.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Mullins was traveling south on 83A, the West Bay Loop, entered a curve at a high rate of speed and began to rotate, went into a ditch, became airborne, hit some power lines and then a tree landing upside down.
Troopers say Mullins died at the scene.
