Man Lights House on Fire with Wife, Neighbor, Kids all Inside

A stand off with police has landed a Millville resident behind bars after he set fire to a house his wife, neighbor, and three young kids were staying in Friday night.

38-year old Clyde Ferguson was arrested after barricading himself into his home and refusing to surrender and cooperate with the Panama City Police S.W.A.T. team and Crisis Negotiation Team.

Authorities eventually made entry into the home and arrested Ferguson. According to authorities, Ferguson used some kind of liquid flammable to set the backside of his neighbor's house on East 3rd Court on fire while his wife, neighbor, and three young kids were all inside.

Police say this incident was part of an ongoing domestic dispute between Ferguson and his wife. Ferguson has been booked in the Bay County Jail and charged with arson, aggravated assault, and violation of probation.
