An elderly Crawfordville man has died in a two vehicle traffic crash on Highway 319 in Wakulla County.
The Florida Highway Patrol identified the fatality as 72 year old Rodger Stephen Smith.
Troopers say Smith was turning onto highway 319 from Emmett Whaley Road and turned into the path of a pick up truck in front of the Wakulla County Public Library.
Smith died a short while later. The other driver sustained minor injuries.
The accident investigation is continuing.
