War Booty Court Martial Reset for May 10 at Eglin

The court martial of an Air Force officer charged with illegally shipping war souvenirs from Iraq to northwest Florida has been reset to begin May 10.

It had been scheduled for April 5 at Eglin Air Force Base at Ft. Walton Beach, but was delayed so Maj. Gregory McMillion could obtain new attorneys. He had a falling out with his two Air Force defense lawyers.

They have been replaced by two captains. He also can hire civilian counsel.

McMillion is charged with failing to report and turn over captured property, including AK-47 assault rifles, a Russian weapon that has been popular with rebel forces and regular armies throughout the world for a quarter of a century.
