The work on the Thomas Drive/Highway 98 flyover in Panama City Beach is progressing well.
Monday crews were pouring concrete on the first deck of three planned flyovers at the busy intersection.
This first phase of the flyover should be completed by early next year. It will affect eastbound traffic from the beach going into Panama City.
This first phase will eliminate some major bottlenecks on Back Beach at Thomas Drive.
