Missing Woman

Beth Prescott's parents describe her as a straight "A" student, a girl who placed her trust in anyone. They believe that trust may have led to her disappearance.

It's said that time heals all wounds, but a year hasn't healed the wound caused when the daughter of Donna and Vincent Pagaiccetti disappeared from Callaway.

Donna, Elizabeth's stepmother, says, “I'm trying, but it’s hard. It’s really hard. I just want to have my daughter home, whether it’s good or bad. I just want to bring her home now.”

For the Paglaiccettis, little things now mean a whole lot more; the last Christmas gift Beth ever gave her stepmother; Mother's Day cards, a glimpse into her heart.

Beth loved changing her hair and would go from blond to brunette on whim. She put her faith in people, and her parents feel maybe too much faith into her husband.

Vincent Paglaicetti, Elizabeth's father, says, “If something went wrong in her marriage I can see her running away from that, but not running away from her family. That's all she has down.”

Police are now looking at registered sex offenders who may have been in the area at the time she vanished. The search is taking its toll on her parents who just want closure.

“One way or the other, this has gotta end good or bad, but it’s gotta end, because if it’s not it’s gonna kill both of us. If I've lost my daughter I'm going to end up losing my life and my wife’s if I don't get my answers.”

Authorities and her family ask any one who may have seen Beth Prescott or knows anything about her disappearance to call the Bay County Sheriff's Office. That number is 747-4700.

Beth would now be 20 years old. Again, sheriff's investigators are asking for you help. If you have any information, please call your nearest law enforcement agency or the Crimestoppers tips line at 785-TIPS.
