Liberty County Man Sees Gold After Winning Florida Lottery Scratch-Off Prize

Donald Vickers, 60, of Hosford, has claimed a $3,000,000 prize in the Gold Rush Tripler Scratch-Off game and chose to receive his winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,950,000.

Vickers purchased his winning ticket at Publix, located at 2111 N.E. Capital Circle in Tallahassee.

The $20 Scratch-Off game is the latest installment of the game which offers better odds of winning $30 to $500, compared to previous games, and the best odds ever to win $500,000. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.95.
