A Panama City woman who says "she wanted to travel back in time" is recovering at home after smashing through a storefront.

According to a Panama City police report, 42-year-old Marsha Beth Creel intentionally and deliberately drove into a former Chinese restaurant on 23rd Street Friday night. Her nine-year-old son Zackery was in the back seat of the silver coupe.

Formerly known as the Gin Gin Restaurant in the Wal-Mart Shopping Center, the building now has nearly $21,000 worth of damages.

Witnesses say Creel was speeding through the parking lot when she ran into the building around 8:15 Friday night.

One man says he went over to check on her and that's when she reportedly made the travel back in time references and seemed to talk in gibberish.

Creel faces reckless driving charges.
