Weather damage at Bay County Schools from Thursday nigh's storm is starting to be reported So far 20 of the local public schools have reported varying degrees of problems.

Rutherford-Water in stairwell, some roof leaks/ceiling tiles damaged
Hiland Park-several classrooms flooded
Patronis-some roof leaks/ceiling tiles damaged
Surfside-Gym has severe leaks, ceiling tiles damaged
Patterson-Water standing in walkways and fields
New Horizons-PE fields flooded, outside drains clogged
Mowat-Air conditioning out in section of school, leaks
Merritt Brown-classrooms flooded in Building #1
Cherry Street-water in walkways
Bay High-Classrooms flooded in Building 1, 2, 20, 12 and leaks in kitchen and band
Everitt-Several portables with leaks
Springfield-playground equipment foundation flooded
Oakland Terrace-computer server down
Shaw-several leaks
Northside-roof leaks
Waller-erosion problems
Tommy Smith-roof leaks
Rosenwald-4 classrooms flooded, stage dressing room flooded, gym leaks
Lynn Haven-several flooded classrooms
Parker-erosion, roof leaks in classrooms

A schools were closed Friday and school officials hope many of the problems can be resolved by the time students get back in the classrooms on Monday.
