Should a Panama City man be put to death for killing his ex-wife?
A jury was picked Tuesday to decide whether Christopher Don Offord should die for the beating death of Dana Noser.
Earlier this year, Offord entered a guilty plea to first degree murder, but then the state decided to seek the death penalty. Now, there will be a trial for the penalty phase of the case.
The 12-member jury will recommend either life in prison or death by lethal injection. Offord is fighting that, claiming Florida's death penalty is unconstitutional.
Offord beat Noser to death at her home last July. They argued because she wanted to cuddle and he wanted to watch highlights of a Mike Tyson boxing match.
