A Franklin County man is in jail accused of operating a mobile meth lab.
Members of the Franklin County sheriff's office narcotics unit arrested Shawn McPhearson Tuesday, just off Jefferson Street in Eastpoint.
The arrest came at a small travel trailer after investigators say they received a tip, McPhearson was operating a "meth lab" in the motor home.
They received a search warrant, and went inside. They found more than 400 grams of prepared methamphetamine. They found a lot of the chemicals used in making the drug.
The Bay County sheriff's office Haz-Mat team assisted, decontaminating McPhearson and the motor home.
McPhearson's facing 8-charges including manufacturing and trafficking of more than 200grams of methamphetamine.
