The search is over for a Panama City Beach teenager who had been missing since last Wednesday.
Walton County sheriff’s deputies found 17-year-old Jennifer Benton late Tuesday afternoon, along with her boyfriend, 25-year-old Blake Hardin.
The two disappeared from the parking lot of the Home Depot about 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Apparently, a tow truck operator spotted Ms. Benton’s car in south Walton County and called Bay County Sheriff’s officers.
Walton County Deputies were alerted, found the car and the two missing people.
The search was now over. Benton was not harmed. Her family went to Walton County to return her home to Panama City Beach.
Hardin was booked into the Walton County Jail in Defuniak Springs. He faces two counts for violating probation and one count of sexual contact with a minor.
