A local man is in the Bay County Jail, charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Roy Lynn Pitts on Wednesday for the shooting, which took place at a mobile home in north Bay County.
Lawmen say he used a 22 caliber rifle to fire at least 15 rounds into the home.
Two adults and seven children were inside the home at the time. None of them were hurt.
Apparently, the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute.
Pitts is in the Bay County Jail and will have a first appearance in local court on Tuesday.
