The local Judicial Nominating Committee Wednesday sent four names to Gov. Jeb Bush to consider for appointment to a new area circuit judgeship.
The committee interviewed all 14 applicants Tuesday and following its deliberations sent four names to Tallahassee.
The list includes: Georgette Edwards Beller, Brantley S. Clark, Jr., James B. Fensom and Robert A. Pell.
The governor will pick one of the four to fill a new circuit court judgeship for the six county area of the 14th Judicial Circuit.
The judgeship was created by the Florida Legislature this spring to help handle the growing case load in this area.
