Steve Camp says it was the most terrifying time in his life.

Even one year later, he has vivid memories of the tornado that swept through this small town.

Steve was lucky. His house was untouched by the massive winds, but others didn't enjoy the same fate.

Some neighboring houses were able to rebuild and repair quickly. But others, are still feeling the effects.

This area has made a comeback. And one year later, the residents are enjoying the natural resources the storm didn't take away.

There are still some Allanton residents who are not back in their homes. The houses are still under repair.
