It happened in Cedar Grove just off of 15th Street on James Road this morning around 10:30.

The fire enveloped half of a mobile home. No one was home when it first started and no neighbors were injured from the flames.

Bay County Fire Rescue said, "Although the back bedroom is a complete loss, many belongings were still salvageable."

Amanda Climer, who lives in the mobile home, was up at the store just around the corner when she heard the sirens. She walked back to check on her neighbors since she saw the truck go down her road, only to find it was her home.

Amanda said, "I didn't think nothing about it and they turn on my street and onto the trailer park, and it was me."

Chief Al Ford with Bay County Fire said, "It's a possibility they could fix it, but the way it looks to me would be a total loss."

The Red Cross is providing the family with temporary shelter. They’re replacing some clothing and food as well.
