A woman in Okaloosa is claiming she was kidnapped and sexually battered Sunday night.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is investigating the apparent situation that took place around midnight. She says she was taken from Crestview City to a secluded area near the Walton County line off Highway 90.

Apparently that's where the suspect sexually assaulted her. The unidentified woman says she ended up at a home off of Goldfinch Way.

EMS transported the woman to North Okaloosa Medical Center. She's describing the suspect as a tall white male, approximately 55 years of age, driving a light colored pickup truck.
