Students and staff members at Chiploa College in Marianna learned earlier this month that some personal information of theirs was exposed on the college's network.
The photos of 2,600 students and 200 employees along with their Social Security numbers were accessible on the Chipola's computer system. It was not available outside the college on the Internet, just on an on-campus system.
The information was placed on the server because of an employee error. The college has notified each student and faculty member who was affected. The mistake has been corrected.
