The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a suspect in the armed robbery of the Ritz Store at 659 Beal Parkway early Sunday morning. Investigators want to question 29-year old Larry Dewayne Fountain, no known address.

Deputies say a man entered the store around five a.m. Sunday armed with a knife and struggled with the store clerk before escaping with the cash register drawer.

The 52-year old clerk suffered minor injuries in the scuffle. He was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center where he was treated and released.

Anyone with information on Fountain’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office at 651-7400 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850-863-TIPS. If you contact Crime Stoppers and your information leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward of UP TO one-thousand dollars.
