During the holidays, many people help those who are less fortunate.
But when you are digging deep in your pockets, don't forget your four legged friends.
The Bay County Humane Society is running low on animal food and is in desperate need of your help. They ask anyone who can help, to bring dog and cat food to the Humane Society located behind the Panama City Police Department on East 15th Street.
Specifically, they need puppy and kitten food as well as kitty litter.
If its more convenient, you can also drop off food at the Humane Society’s Thrift and Gift on West 23rd Street.
The Humane Society is now open Wednesday through Saturday 11 to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 5 p.m.
