A Springfield man is in custody for allegedly running a meth lab out of his home.
Bay County sheriff’s deputies went to home of 38-year-old Jack Morris to arrest him for violation of probation on a previous meth charge.
That's when they found items consistent with an active meth lab inside his home. Deputies called a special unit to dismantle the lab.
While investigating the property, the deputies found over 200 grams of meth oil.
Morris is charged with manufacturing and trafficking of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and manufacturing and possession of drug paraphernalia.
This isn't the first time officers have inspected Morris's home. They were there for a similar incident in 2003.
