Hundreds have already gone and hundreds more are expected to head over to the Panama City Visual Arts Center this week to watch Tibetan Monks create a sacred Mandala.
Mandala is an ancient sand painting dating back 2,500 years. Monks use ancient tools and colored sand to create paintings which symbolize life.
But before a monk can begin working on a Mandala they must first go through six years of training.
Tibetan Monk Thupt Chosng says it’s a product of the mind.
"This is a form of meditation, so through this painting, so after a while you can visualize. We can close our eyes and we can visualize the Mandala in our mind."
If you want to see the Mandala creation yourself, it will be on display at the Visual Arts Center in Downtown Panama City through Thursday.
