The conductor of the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra has been fired amid allegations of financial improprieties.
Demetrius Fuller was terminated Tuesday night by the Okaloosa-Walton College Board of Trustees.
Among other things, Fuller is accused of taking five-thousand dollars from Okaloosa-Walton illegally.
According to the Northwest Florida Daily News, the Okaloosa County sheriff's office is investigating criminal possible charges against Fuller.
Fuller learned of the firing after getting off a plane in Brazil, where he's a guest conductor.
There's no word on when he'll be back in northwest Florida.
