A local family is asking for your help to bring their daughter home.
Authorities found 28-year-old Melissa James in the trunk of an abandoned burned out Jaguar outside Las Vegas on December 14.
The car belonged to 33-year-old Kelly Ryan. James had been staying with Ryan and her husband Craig Titus at the time and she served as their personal assistant. She was a 1995 graduate of Mosley High School.
Both Ryan and Titus are charged with James' murder.
The Las Vegas medical examiner is releasing the body to the family, but family members say they can't afford to bring her body home to Panama City from Las Vegas for burial.
Peoples First Community Bank opened a benefit account for Melissa James called the "Bring Melissa Home Fund."
Donations can be dropped off or sent to any branch of Peoples First Community Bank.
