An Army National Guardsman wanted in connection with the murder of a Fort Walton Beach woman is now in custody in San Diego.
Thirty-three-year-old Chad Broumley had admitted himself to one of the VA facilities in the San Diego this past Saturday.
Okaloosa sheriff’s investigators immediately contacted their San Diego counterparts who arrested Broumley and took him to the San Diego County Jail.
They say Broumley has confessed to killing 53-year-old Stephanie Ann Beam who lived in the Wright area of Fort Walton Beach.
Ms. Beam’s body was discovered Saturday in her town home at 702 Doyce Drive. Her car, which had been missing, was found at a Ft. Walton Beach car dealership where it had been taken before Christmas for repairs.
