Grandmother Claims $50 Million Lotto Jackpot

A Leon County grandmother says she's buying a new home and will set up a trust fund for her five children and her grandchildren now that she won the lottery.

Doris Davis claimed last weekend's $50 million Florida Lotto jackpot. The 60-year-old took the immediate lump sum payment.

After taxes she gets an estimated $30 million.

Davis was reading the local newspaper last Sunday, the morning after the drawing, when she noticed she had the matching numbers.

Even after having her daughter read the numbers back to her, Davis says she still couldn't believe her eyes.

The Florida resident for 27 years and married for 40. She says she still plans to return to her office managerial position at a storage company.
