Police say they have arrested a suspect in last Sunday night’s murder of a Cottondale man.
Nineteen-year-old Terinthius Ramarcy Giles was arrested by Cottondale police late Friday. He’s been charged with the murder of 33-year-old Lamond Poole.
Poole was shot in the face outside his home near the Stedman Mobile Home Park on Highway 90.
Witnesses told NewsChannel Seven earlier they saw Poole walk across the street to a neighbor’s home earlier that night. He was returning home when they saw a man jumped out from behind a shed, argued with Poole and then shot him in the face.
Giles is being held in the Jackson County Jail in Marianna without bond on an open charge of murder.
