U.S. Airways to Discontinue Service to Panama City
Just three months after beginning air service to Panama City, Newschannel 7 has learned that U.S. Airways has decided it's not working out.

Well here it is Dec 23 and I'm making plans to come back to PCB in May 09. Lo and behold we have this news. However- since this announcement all fuel prices have dropped significantly and the situation is much better, I'm not so sure US Air believes so, and if they look a passenger count they may not be back all too soon. Perhaps in 2010 when the opening of the new airport is official, maybe they'll eliminate the Ft. Walton destination. In the mean time it looks like there or Pensacola I will fly to and drive.

Joe Moore doesn't need to drive. If he wants to be someplace, he just visualizes the location and appears there. Joe Moore controls time and space. Don't trifle with Joe Moore.

Shocking. It's only going to get worse, so I'd guess the chances of U.S. Airways coming back are about zip. But, we're going to have one heck of a nice place not to come back to when the new airport opens!

If we can't keep a US Airways what makes anyone think we will be able to bring in a real airline like Southwest???

On the bright side, we won't have any delays at our fancy new airport. Might be fun to sit around and watch the plane take off.
