A local psychiatrist has voluntarily surrendered his medical license after being accused of sexual misconduct.
Three women in their 30s made the accusations against Dr. Anthony John Reading, saying the incidents happened while he was practicing in Tampa.
Dr. Reading retired from that position in 2003 and moved to Bay County.
He served as medical director at Bay Behavioral for 21 months before stepping down late last year when the women’s claims became public. The women say reading fondled, groped, hugged and kissed them while they were his patients.
By giving up his medical license, reading has ended the state’s probe into his conduct.
