Panama City police say the man who allegedly robbed the Panama City Rescue Mission's Thrift Store Saturday lives right down the street at the Rescue Mission.
According to police reports, Scott O'Grady admitted to robbing the store because he's addicted to crack cocaine.
Police say O'Grady went into the store Saturday around noon and threatened the cashier. The cashier handed him $300 in cash.
After about a 45 minute search of the area, officers arrested O'Grady near the intersection of 8th and McKenzie.
He is currently being held in the Bay County Jail on $50,000 bond.
