Two stepbrothers from Vancleave were killed early Friday and four others from the Coast were injured when their vehicle crashed into a utility on Interstate 10 in Mobile near the Interstate 65 intersection.

The group was returning from a trip to Panama City, Fla.

Donald "Donny" Sullivan Jr., 20, and Joshua James Premeaux, 17, died almost instantly at about 3:30 a.m. after being ejected from their Jeep Cherokee, which flipped after hitting the pole, police said, adding none of the car's occupants were wearing seat belts.

The other four occupants - Raymond Youngblood, 16; Alvin Ceaser, 19; Auston Premeaux, 17; and Mark Nickens, 18, were treated at the University of South Alabama Medical Center and released later in the day.

The group had left for Panama City on Thursday, said the stepbrothers' father, Donald Sullivan of Vancleave, adding he did not know why the trip was so brief.

Sullivan Jr. worked for a tree-cutting service. He was a Biloxi native and had played football and baseball in Biloxi and St. Martin.

Premeaux also was a Biloxi native and a junior at Biloxi High, where he had played football and baseball.
