Sgt Fogarty made a mistake, and had a lapse in judgement. it doesn't change the fact that he is a GOOD person. give him a break. wouldn't you want that if it were your loved one? I do not know what he was thinking and at this point I don't care. I just know that I love him and his family, and stand beside them 100%. They will make it through this and with help will come out even stronger. Give him a break. Look at your pasts. Have you always been perfect? When you can say yes to that question, then maybe you can judge someone.

First of all for an officer to LIE to investigators is wrong, period. Yes, he WAS in a dept vehicle when this occurred even thought it was consensual, take it somewhere private. Every place has rules/policies/procedures, etc and you KNOW they are there. How can an officer be trusted with ANY case/court preceeding after lying to his fellow peers, regardless of what the incident was?

I persanlly don't feel this incident has anything to with his job other than he was lied on. Why is he the one suffering? Okay he had sex with her she's not under age! And who said anything about the people you are. We are All human! It said the sex was consenual. Is It required by law to have to discuss our personal life at work?
