FBI officials say a Florida man who is suspected in seven bank robberies in three different states, including Panama City, has been arrested by police in South Carolina.

Myron William Ernst, aka Christopher Allen Roan, of Orlando, Fla., was arrested late last week.

He is accused of robbing Regions Bank at west 23rd Street and Beck Ave several months ago. He also faces charges of robbing six other banks around the southeast, most of them region’s branches.

Authorities say the robberies were conducted with the suspects giving the tellers a note demanding money and indicating he had a gun.
