Local political activist Kevin Wood was due in court Tuesday for a second time in a week to be sentenced on a DUI conviction, but it didn't happen.
Wood failed to show up last week for his original sentencing, so the judge issued a warrant for his arrest. He was jailed last Wednesday, and held until Monday when the judge released him on his own recognizance, provided he show up Tuesday.
Apparently Wood is appealing his conviction, so sentencing has now been postponed.
Wood was arrested last July on driving under the influence charges. He was convicted in February in Bay County Court.
