Panama City Beach and Division of Forestry authorities are looking for 5-people who may be responsible for a case of arson. The Friday fire burned 4-acres of woods off Highway 79 just north of Back Beach Road about 1:30 PM.

It took Forestry fire crews about an hour to get the flames under control. They determined someone deliberately started the fire, igniting 5-different locations.

Several beach police officers, who responded first, say they saw 5-people running from the scene.

Friday's fire happened in the same area where another arson occurred about 2-months ago.

If you have any information about either of the fires, please call the Florida Division of Forestry at 800-342-5869. You could be eligible for up to a 5-thousand dollar reward.
