Marianna- Looking for a good time that won't cost a dime? Look no further than the Marianna City Farmer's Market. That's where the 2nd annual, 'Pumpkins in the Park' will be held Saturday, October 20.
Carve out a couple hours of Saturday morning to check out the patch- an astounding 1075 pumpkins for the picking.
Pumpkins and of course, supplies for decorating them, are free for children. There will also be free food, face painting, a rock climbing wall, cooking demonstrations, art vendors and much more.
Last year's event brought in around 3000 people. This year, organizer Eric Toole said he expected upwards of 4000 people to attend.
"We're going to squeeze them in one way or another," Toole said laughing. "We're just looking forward to a great, fun filled day with a lot of people and a lot of activities going on."
The fun starts at 8:30 AM and lasts until noon. The Marianna City Farmers Market is located on Madison Street off Highway 90.
