3 People Gunned Down in Dothan Nightclub Shooting

DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) -- A suspect is in custody after a shooting at a strip club near Dothan that killed three and wounded one.
Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd tells The Associated Press that two men and a woman were gunned down late Thursday night at Teasers, a nightclub just outside of Dothan.
Officers found their suspect, a 22-year-old man, hiding in woods near the club around 7 a.m. The suspect had shed his shirt and shoes and was wearing only tan shorts when he was led into the Houston County Sheriff's Department.
Byrd says the victims were shot with a handgun, and that they were struck mostly in the abdomen and chest areas. He said the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. after some type of dispute among patrons of the club.
