Springfield police say they have found a missing local teenaged girl and the man who allegedly took her.
Authorities say they found 13-year-old Francisca Barragan-Dominguez and 20-year-old Moises Hernandez Friday. The pair had been missing since June 14.
Police had feared they may have fled to Texas or Mexico, but they received a tip the man and the girl were still in the area.
They tracked Hernandez to the Value-Lodge Motel in St. Andrew, waited until he got into his car, and then pulled him over.
He faces a number of charges including five counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a person under the age of 16 and interference with child custody.
Police say they found the girl in a room at the Value Lodge and reunited her with her mother.
