A Thomas Drive topless nightclub that burned down last week will be demolished.
Bay County officials informed the owners of the Show 'n Tail lounge they will have to demolish what's left of the building because it is unsafe.
The club burned on June 21 when an electrical short in the attic sparked the fire. The manager noticed smoke and evacuated everyone.
County officials have deemed the structure unsafe and they're giving the owners 10 days to come up with a written plan for clearing the property.
Chances are the topless club won’t rebuild on the same spot.
Back in 1999, the owners of several adult businesses, including Show 'N Tail, agreed to move of the tourist corridors within eight years. That deadline is next February.
