School Board Members Speak Out

The superintendent said Thursday he has no comment on the board's decision or what he plans to do next, but he has several options.

McCalister can accept the board's decision and leave Bolinger at Bay. He can submit another recommendation, sending Bolinger to another school, or he can take the school board to court, challenging its reasoning that removing Bolinger from Bay would be a detriment to the school.

If the case goes to court, the school district would have to pay the legal costs for both sides of the lawsuit.
