Bush for VP?

Gov. Jeb Bush has repeatedly said he’s not interested in running for president in 20, but what about Vice President?

The buzz in political circles is that Bush may be willing to sign on as the running mate of Arizona Senator John McCain and the governor was a bit evasive when asked about those rumors Monday.

REPORTER: "We've been reading about a John McCain-Jeb Bush ticket in 2008, what's your thought about that and Senator McCain?"

BUSH: "I'm happy to be off vacation and back to work. That's what I've got to do right now."

REPORTER: "Wow, now that's an evasive answer. What do you think about Senator McCain?"

BUSH: "I like Senator McCain. I think he's a good guy."

After eight years as governor, Bush will be leaving Tallahassee in January because of term limits, but he remains one of the most popular figures within the GOP.
