Area law enforcement combined forces Wednesday to make several arrests.
The first group of busts involved crack cocaine trafficking. The State Attorney's Office, Lynn Haven Police and Bay County sheriff's investigators arrested 21-year-old Shellie Simpson and 19-year-old Christopher Travis Beaumont on cocaine possession charges.
Authorities say they stopped the Callaway pair near the intersection of Highway 22 and Star Avenue, finding seven grams of crack. More arrests are expected.
Also Parker police arrested two men on marijuana charges as part of an on-going narcotics investigation. Investigators say 22-year-old John Wayne Mitchell of Panama City and 20-year-old Christian Everett Dozier of Graceville were charged with sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of school and possession with intent to distribute.
Authorities say they seized a pound of pot, cash and a vehicle. Springfield police and sheriff's deputies assisted in this case.
And DeFuniak Springs police say they've nabbed a robbery suspect. The man, identified as Eric D. Murphy of Ohio, allegedly robbed the Dollar General store on West Nelson Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
DeFuniak Springs officers canvassed a nearby neighborhood and arrested Murphy soon after the robbery. He's being held in the Walton County Jail.
